Alex has been involved in Olympic sports as both a competitor
and organiser. During Alex’s career as a pentathlete he was Australian
national champion a record number of eight times and selected for four
consecutive Olympic Games – 1980 Moscow, 1984 Los Angeles, 1988 Seoul
and 1992 Barcelona.
In late 2003 Alex moved to Noosa on the QLD Sunshine Coast to pursue
new ventures in sport and tourism including the development of Equathon
Holdings and. Alex has just been appointed in February 2009 to the Planning and Management Team for the new Queensland State Equestrian Centre to be built at Caboolture in South East Queensland. Alex
has two wonderful children, Saxon (16) and Milani (8).
